Definitely not a Worlds car. Looks like a CE with dyed nylon parts. Anyway, it should clean up nicely. Also, they have the rear arm mounts reversed. EDIT: Oops, apparently the late CE's came with black plastics and shock caps. Read all about it here: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t...

Real nice find, I’ve got a soft spot for the late all black parts cars. That one looks to still be wearing its original tires as well. Very cool

Yep the last gold tubs were C stamped.

I've just gone back for a second look at the photos and, apart from the dust and rusty fasteners, I'm astounded by the car's excellent overall condition. Clearly, this car has seen very little use. That rust could be cleaned up by disassembling and the steel parts spending a day or two soaking in CLR. Then some gun bluing and back to being pretty.

Just finishing some preservation on a couple of cars. Lots of rusty/uneven colored originally blackened steel parts. I tried linseed oil. First I cleaned all the steel parts. Time consuming... Got out my oldest needle nose pliers and my heat gun. Dipped each piece individually in the oil then heated...
