Re: Do you display with or without electronics?

Same, all get full electronics and ready for use. With the exception of a couple that would need to fill shock fluid, but those are meant to never be ran except for an occasional slow stroll around the basement to make sure everything is in working order.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - September 2022 ** - Winner - THEYTOOKMYTHUMB

Well done Thumbs, and good job to all entries. As soon as it was posted I really wanted to vote for that Rampage Pro. But then the Dom was posted and it really was a tough decision, teeter-tottered for days.

Re: Optima Mid RERE

There's a good chance the box may never be opened, or at least for many years. The Turbo Optima and CAT XLS have been sitting on the shelf unopened for 2-3 years or so. Problem is there's nearly 20 project cars/trucks, and growing, sitting on the shelf ahead of them. And projects get done at a snail...

Re: Anyone ID these for me?

Frankentruck wrote: Tue Sep 27, 2022 5:11 pm The carriers and axle washers look like B4 items.
That was my first thought. The shorter looking axles seem to be B4, but the hubs can be for B4, T4 and SC10.

Re: Futaba multi-model transmitter question

If you haven't done so already, I'd start by checking the transmitter batteries aren't low, and re-binding the two buggies to the radio. Just a thought.

Re: Coupons and Specials

Great idea limestang. I'd guess this thread would likely be better suited placed in the "R/C Off-Topic / Chit-Chat" section.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Didn't come cheap, but I wanted it. So clean they damn near look new, and work great when tested. For the cost, it was actually a pretty good deal considering the condition.

Re: Finally, the official Futaba FXT thread

I just bought one of these on ebay. Before I buy one, does anybody have a scanned copy of the manual? The link that Jeff posted on page two is dead. Glad you got it. I was wondering if someone here won it. I decided to pass on it since I have a handful of them. I'm interested in seeing if someone c...

Re: In flight pictures

I recently built my 6 year old a ramp for our r/c's. I'll need to snap some pics and post them.

Exact same turnbuckles I got for mine.

Re: Finally, the official Futaba FXT thread

Indeed heavy duty Easy-Off oven cleaner (the yellow cap can) really does the trick removing anodizing. Here's a couple pictures of the chassis after spraying with Easy-off, sit for 15-20 minutes at a time, whipping off and rinsing with water. Did this process a few times on different areas as needed...
