Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I took some piles of parts and put them together. I like them better together.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I asked Parma if they might start making the Prelude PAR99007 body again. I really like that body. The answer was Yes 👍

Things that USPS has been circulating and ping ponging around for the last 2 1/2 weeks decided to show up today. The Big Jim modifieds seem to have been well cared for and run nicely. . 1000016349.jpg . This Andy's body (not directly from Andy) came in an unusual shipping box. . 1000016350.jpg . The...

Kyosho Super Scale Series

in 1990 Kyosho introduced a new line of 1/10 electric 4wd on-road cars they called their Super Scale Series. Released concurrently with their Scale Series of cars the Super Scale versions differed by not only featuring a much greater level of detail but also rode on their own unique chassis to accom...

Re: Coupons and Specials

I've been running across a lot of deals on Spektrum products. I bought several 15T 540's and some 14T 550's for $9-10 each from Horizon on Amazon, along with some other discounted items. Just now, I got a couple 40 amp esc's for $8 each and a shorty lipo for $27 from Omni on Ebay. There was several ...

Re: Coupons and Specials

If you have a local Hobbytown, these are still good for a few more days.

If I had paid closer attention to my email, it could have saved me $20 last week.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

The kid wrenching on his truck for the first time himself. Adding a variety of RPM parts, ball cups and turnbuckles. And swapping out the Hobbywing 1060 esc and 20T brushed motor for a 60A brushless esc and 3500KV motor setup. Resized_20241228_124307_1735411420996.jpeg The RPM bellcranks makes a hu...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

I'm not finding any of the Hot Racing units. Any idea? Hot Racing ECT2106 Aluminum Steering Blocks (blue) - ECX 2WD https://a.co/d/bNzgr7c This is what I used on my Torment. It has survived all kinds of crashes, tumbles, and flips. I didn't use the aluminum caster blocks, only the steering blocks.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2025 ** - Winner - coxbros1

This is my tribute build to the Original Racing Master 956 as featured in the 1985 Tamiya Guide Book. This car and the Toyota Toms 84c highlighted 1/12 on road racing in that book. I have the Toms on the RM2 chassis, but they’ve become so expensive so went looking for something also that I could fit...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2025 ** - Winner - coxbros1

This is sort of a What's old is new but also a ReRe , this definitely could have been done and is inspired by the A+L trailing arm conversions , it uses ReRe Kyosho Scorpion rear trailing arms mounted to the back of a Yokomo 834b ReRe . This allows some camber change as the wheel rises plus a little...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - January 2025 ** - Winner - coxbros1

An insane Drillinator got his tools on this pitful Yoke. I would love to know if this was done intentionally. Or is this neighbour's revenge after fighting his dog too hard? I never will find out because this Fighter came to me already mistreated in 2018. I jazzed it up with nice electronics. World ...
