Pretty far out of my AE comfort zone. My wife got this for me to try and "resurrect". Afraid this hobby grade car was rode hard and put up wet. Futaba FX10.jpg So I tore it down and cleaned everything as good as possible. Found 2 cracks in chassis, so unless I can find a replacement chassi...

So on top of a few other projects i now have decided to open this up and build it. I found an article in my rcca mag that that they did, sorta like a best oval trc/composite craft car we can make and its really cool. Ill find and post article but i think thats gonna be my project.

Yeah it's a beast. Put it on the scale and it's 48lbs. Chassis will be coated yellow. The body I plan to airbrush like a pro mod style car I saw which is blue, yellow, orange,red,white so it should all tie together nicely.

No need to be scared. I'll be glad to test it for you this Saturday. We'll find the deepest, coldest and most snake infested lake around and just go for it. I'll bring my Speedo, razor and a snorkel.

That's got a very nice crisp look ,can't go wrong with yellow and black ! The wheels really bring out the shine !
