Kyosho Vanning
In 1985 Kyosho introduced a 1/8 4wd nitro powered buggy called the Vanning. Preceded by the similar but trailing arm equipped Land Jump from 1980 and sharing its manual with the Presto Buggy the Vanning was built on an aluminum square tube ladder frame with a tubular roll cage. Its molded nylon 4-wh...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got the plates mocked up for my RC150, and printed just for testing purposes. I will change around the openings on the radio plate to match the actual equipment used. Hope these become the first pieces I get cut on my cheap CNC.

Re: Robb's Garage
Tamiya Porsche 956 Mk.5. Of all my builds, this one is in my top 5 of surprising and fun builds. Super impressed with the quality of this car, and did not expect it from Tamiya. I picked up another one of these from a flea market recently, and look forward to building it in the future. Before: tamiy...

The Brewster Baker Trackmaster. This was a trackmaster chassis'd oval car with a Badger oval car transmission. When I picked this car up, it looked like it had sat in a pond for a couple of years ..... when done, it was a BOTM winner. Before: TM OVAL CAR NEW 1.jpg After: TM DONE OVERALL TOP.jpg TM D...

The AE TF10. I just wanted to build a long, dual deck, TF AE based car, so I did this. I feel like I rushed the paint, and want to revisit this in the future to top it off more correctly. tf10 build 1.jpg TF10 BUILD 11.jpg TF10 BUILD 16.jpg TF10 BUILD 18.jpg TF10 DONE 2.jpg TF10 DONE 1.jpg

Repainted RC12L
Older RC12L body from a purchase a while ago. Not really sure the manufacturer of the body.
Repainted with somewhat vintage theme.
The AE decals were original to the body, might need a few more though.

Re: YZ10 rere- this time with blue box art
The YZ10 was pretty popular in the 4wd gear case class at my track at the time I bought my Thunder Shot. I think my adolescent brain thought the T Shot would run with them. Maybe because of the streamlined body of the Thunder Shot. The YZ10 is smooth AF! I'd love to have one now but the bank i...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - November 2024 ** - Winner - Incredible_Serious
This won't have the cool factor of the custom builds I've seen win in the past, but most of my builds are box art/build manual style, and this is the first one I documented the build on here. Thought it was fitting to have it be the first I submitted for BOTM. The RC10 B2 was my second ever hobby gr...
