Re: Abandoned JRX2

Did the motor have a letter scribed on the end? Sometimes the first letter on the model name is on the shaft end of the can. It has the number 323 engraved in the shaft end. I couldn't find a reference to the number, so I pulled it apart and can see it is a double wind. Of course, I can't count the...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple

This is a custom chain drive Tamiya Frog. Be sure to zoom in on the pics to see all the details. It has an ultra tall gear ratio with this setup. The B&R that was originally chosen for the build just didn't have enough torque, so in went a Lemans 550 360ST unit. It worked perfect. It is not just...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple

Ok, so this is the car that has the misfortune to be owned, and even worse driven by me ;-) My “transponder-carrier” B6.X started as a B6.1, but received a few updates like: - B6.2 rear suspension, mainly due to parts availability - B7 KPI mod up front, not 100% on it yet. But for now it gets to sta...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - March 2025 ** - Winner - silvertriple

My builds are quite involving, and they are taking time : on this one it reached another level. Not a single original part was used. Lot of 3D prints and home made parts, some replacemnt parts widely available, and we have a *not* Zerda, and it took about 2 years and a half to get there between the ...

Time warp graphite, looks like it was used a couple times and put away. It's all original and all I did was clean it up.

Just a few feet away, three of them hanging with me the last few days.

Being Mexican iguanas, they probably like jalapeños.
I can confirm that they do.

Fine Design Manufacturing Top Fuel Truck I restored a few years ago, uses AE 12i rear pod powered by a Reedy 510r and Novak 4.5L Velociti topped off with an Andy’s painted Parma Chevy.

Re: Bolink Invader Oval

Well, my CNC future is a bit on hold right now, so I got a shock tower from factoryworks.com Then had a little time today to get some things installed. Getting close to being ready for the body. And I know the rear driveshaft is really the oddball here, but TBH, the front suspension is just as suspi...

Re: Bolink Invader Oval

Try to get the steering arms as parallel as possible to the arms and it should cut down the bump steer tremendously

Don't feel bad, that's how all of mine end up as well. I can count all the ones I've crashed on one hand. The only thing I can fly are gliders.

Try to get the steering arms as parallel as possible to the arms and it should cut down the bump steer tremendously Yea, I get the theory, but just not seeing how to mount the servo / horn at this point to help. The plates and fasteners are in the way. Hopefully it will click at some point and I wi...
