Being self employed has its benefits (good pay isn’t one of them!)
Makes it a bit hard to complain about your boss being a sphincter, too......

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

One of my main reasons for coming here was to have a steak at Gibson's. 22 ounces cooked at 1800 degrees F to a perfect medium rare. Went last night and geeked out a little. Comes pretty naturally to me, hence the toy cars. The food here has all been amazing. Now that 'stairs' pic is card...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Nice little lot of servos in the mail today. Nothing spectacular, but all in good shape, and the HPIs worth more than I paid for the entire lot.... ;)

Now I can offload all those awful Sanwa S102 and Futaba S148 servos I have :)

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

73 I choked when I read that. Now, I don't feel nearly as bad about my unused lot of old Futaba servos. I haven't actually counted all my servos..... I was just answering the question with a figure   8) Alex So I did a quick two-minute hunt-around.... and found 76 servos, plus two more I...

Re: My Vintage Schumacher Daytona Project...

Quick update on this long-running project... collecting this carp for so long, and not finishing one car, I decided that enough was enough. A local guy here offered me $300 cash on pickup, and with the way things are at the moment, I accepted. All my Daytona stuff (cars, bodies, parts, wheels and ty...

Re: Currently Playing

Work's been a bitch, yard's been a bitch, I'm off tomorrow so today I'm gonna drink some damn cold Busch Lights and jam some 80's. Check out the song playing in the background at the beginning and compare it to the video above. I had absolutely no idea until I started the video. 8) _88L-CU7PD4 Must...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

These arrived at my office at 5:15pm last Friday afternoon... I left the office for the (long) weekend at 5:10pm  Some blingy touring wheels, a set of Mini race wheels, and a full set of Custom Works wheels. Mini wheels are set to be raced, and the bling wheels will get used easily enough. Whe...

Well, seeing as I got some Mini wheels, better add some tyres for them..... these Rally Blocks arrived today :D 20220428_164347.jpg Also picked up these new Tamiya silver can motors. Not usually a fan of silver cans, but at least Tamiya put a label on them these days, for a tiny bit of bling.... bli...

Literally just took this. Total 80's smoke-show! Screenshot_20220501-020532_Gallery.jpg Talk about not aging well. Let's see how well you age in 34 years, hey hoss..... :P  To be honest, I'd be more concerned with the guy in the background, trying to burp the national anthem.....

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Yesterday's local pickups.... 1. A lot of transmitters and some 'plastic' bodies, price was free :D but I added some extra parts from my side for a good deal. Shame they're mostly missing battery doors, but oh well. TX Lot.jpg 2. A HB Cyclone-S Drift Spec I picked up for AUS$80 (about US$55). Lots o...
