Re: PB Mini Mustang Refurb

I was going to meet up with a friend and take the cars to a local car park to check out the two speed transmition but that's fallen through but I did get the chance to try it in the road outside , I couldn't get it to a top speed cruise as there just wasn't enough space , its for sure the fastest br...

Re: PB Mini Mustang Refurb

Just a few pictures of the two speed installed and a little description of its function for those who are curious . https://i.imgur.com/WRNcLQQl.jpg https://i.imgur.com/NuQLr7jl.jpg The way it works is with a double pinion on the motor that drives two spur gears , the larger spur for low gear is fit...

Re: PB Mini Mustang Refurb

The first one is exactly like the PB two speed but fitted with a second one way bearing as I tried but its for a nitro engine that's incapable of running backwards so it could never lock the transmition , the second later one seems to be like the HPI version or probably vice versa . I love learning ...

Re: PB Mini Mustang Refurb

I had to get a Mini Mustang body to fit over the 2 speed gearbox and i redesigned the gear cover as well to prevent dirt getting in , i was not too bothered about an open spur gear under the Maxima body but the 2 speed setup might suffer more if sand gets in . https://i.imgur.com/LGZTSQgl.jpg https:...

Re: Our boys down under.....

Our company established a matching funds donation effort to benefit the Australian Red Cross. The goal was $15,000 AUD and we exceeded that goal in less than 4 hours. We have roughly 2000 employees worldwide.
You are definitely in our thoughts and prayers.

Re: Our boys down under.....

In South Australia, we had a devastating fire in the Adelaide Hills that destroyed a number of homes and claimed a couple lives, but our biggest issue has definitely been on Kangaroo Island, where the healthiest population of Koalas has apparently been lost by more than half. And more than half of t...

Re: Our boys down under.....

All safe here for the moment, but things can change in an instant. Australia is far from over with the "peak" of the fire season still ahead of us. Another firefighter was killed just yesterday :( fingers crossed they get on top of the fires in these milder conditions before it heats up ag...

Re: Tamiya lot find

So You´re asking how to get the most money out of Your investment? All kits are available at the shops today, so unless You got them for free or under 1/3 of cheapest price found on the net, I don´t see them as a money making option. So either wait 20-40 years while hoping for Tamiya to stop releasi...

Re: Tamiya lot find

I think your wrong about guys here not knowing the prices or trends as you say. There are lots of guys here that collect tamiya, kyosho, marui, yokomo etc... Take a look through the different forums. Hmmm, I could be wrong, but I don't think many users here are familiar with how things are in Argen...

Re: PB Mini Mustang driveshafts

How big are the PB's balls? PB does stand for Prodigious Balls.... Seriously though, how much bigger than 5mm diameter are they? So you're asking me to go home and measure my balls? Sure, that should only take a minute. Any more than that and you're not measuring 'em, you're pleasuring 'e...
