Re: Friend gave me two B3s!!!

Custom Works long cups are nearly identical. Even though they are discounted, I still run across the 7230's often. RPM cups can be used in most places but they are a little bulkier than AE or CW cups. AE turnbuckles and known for breaking and bending at the threads. I prefer Schumacher turnbuckles.

At 32°, its a pretty safe bet that its a 27T outlaw stock.

Re: RC10 Edinger from Japan unboxing

That is a wide nose chassis, likely Composite Craft. Hot Trick offered a similar nose plate for aluminum tubs.

Re: RC10 Edinger from Japan unboxing

If the trans is really smooth, someone probably took their time blueprinting the outdrives. They weren't bad, but the rework made them super smooth This. My six gear transmissions are among the freest spinning that I own. However, their tolerances aren't nearly as tight as a Stealth. Doing the outd...

Re: Hirobo Zerda: from wreck to runner

Lighter fluid will break down old grease and lubricants without damaging the plastic parts. It's also good for removing servo tape and other mild adhesives.

Regular Zippo or Ronsonal fluids are just light hydrocarbon, naphtha blends.

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!

Been a GM guy my entire existence up until a couple years ago when we started to get Fords for the family truckster… And now I’ve picked up one for myself. I think that you'll be happy. Generally, the fit and finish on Ford trucks is a step above the rest. Not saying that anyone else makes poor tru...

Re: Composite Craft Predator Lynx re-build

Wera makes great 1/16" and 0.050" (1.3mm) drivers as well.

Their "Hex-Plus" tip design is a life saver. It almost looks like a Torx but works great.

Yes, they aren't pictures that I actually took. So what, I took the screenshot. Screenshot_20220827-200049_Samsung Internet.jpg Send this to all your friends with IPhones. I haven't gotten a response from any of them. They should probably know, that makes it even funnier. Screenshot_20220827-1...

A friend's daughter taught English there until COVID. I can just imagine a bunch of Koreans speaking south Mississippi redneck.

Re: Hybrid buggy build

I'm not sure the high-torque servo saver + S3003 servo is a good idea...that may lead to stripped servo gears (which are all plastic on the S3003) because the servo saver spring is too strong for a standard servo like the S3003. Unless it falls off the shelf, there isn't much chance of damage. Only...

Re: Hirobo Zerda: from wreck to runner

Sudden realisation...wheels on this zerda are originals even if the tyres are crap. Need to remove shitty paint job and find 1.75 inch/44mm inner dia tyres. Some JConcepts 3087's might work. They are for 1.7 wheels but easy stretchable. They have an 81mm OD and are 37mm wide (on 32mm wheel). Screen...

I seen this car all over town today. At least it has George County plates on it (county north of us).
