From my sources, MIP was not involved and was planning on having theirs ready for the race in Indiana. This is just a copy of our Ten4, I expect the MIP will be more... original.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

This is the best time, outside of the 84-95 timeframe, for vintage RC cars. Back then, we got the original parts and lived the life. Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

To me the car is a total rip-off of Jeff's kit...looks nothing like the prototype car that ran in the IFMAR 's that they are promoting in they're ads online...and it's not an opinion..it's a fact.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

They didn't have to spend a lot on R&D costs.... Too soon  I spoke with Curtis yesterday, we are all good. Ultimately they did what I wanted to do- molded parts, refinements, etc that only a company with money could do. I like what they did (maybe not the way they went about it, lol)...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

I most certainly can always make another run, but you cant beat the price of the new kit. The thing I had been considering is running more of the aluminum pulleys and maybe the front end parts, tensioner etc. Whatever it is, I need it to be something that will sell or else I have just sunk more mone...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

Now, when the MIP 4wd re-re arrives, I’m still very interested.
Me too! One thing is guaranteed with MIP, it's gonna be made in the USA. That is not optional with Eustace

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Well it was more my wife but we finally got around to doing some sublimation prints and they turned out ok! Pretty amazing technology. This really opens up some possibilities 😅
