Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I don't know how good or bad the quality is for the Dubro, but a Drill America tap was the same price on Amazon and they are usually ok quality. I wanted it yesterday, literally because this was yesterday  , and I was throwing a couple $ at the LHS. Most of the taps at my desk are Irwin or Bo...

Re: Bolink Invader Oval
Well, my CNC future is a bit on hold right now, so I got a shock tower from factoryworks.com Then had a little time today to get some things installed. Getting close to being ready for the body. And I know the rear driveshaft is really the oddball here, but TBH, the front suspension is just as suspi...

Re: The next rere... a GT?!!
SG crank will be difficult, I *think* you can cut the crank and make them work, but its been along time and I could be wrong. Also the rear exhaust will make header choice difficult. I went with a USA made K&B engine from Mecoa, but had to order the machined cylinder head as mine came with the o...

Re: Losi JRX Pro SE build
Wheels are mounted. I have the good fortune to have a new set of black & white Losi logo wheels. I love these wheels in white, however I have been wanting to use these black wheels/tires for a long time. After mounting them, I think some red logo wheels would be a great fit, lol. I did a quick p...

I finally finished my Team Car gold edition
As I mentioned in the "What did you get in the post" thread I received my RC10 Team Car ReRe back on December 12th. I had some big work projects pending that were due before year end so I put off cutting the seals until I'd gotten all those chores done, so I didn't start the build until Ja...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
Yeah that BORMAC guy is back.....
Looks like I will have to build up a 4WD RC10 too now.... and give it a rag around Castle Hill very soon.

Re: AE RC10 4wd .step files
its amazing how you can cut down development time by being smart. It took me 6 hours to model their parts vs a year of research and development to make it from scratch

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Score for this week....Mini pliers/wire cutters, wire strippers, 4mm heat shrink, a load of tires, foam for battery boxes, extra 14awg wire, xacto knife set (to replace the cheap one I bought a while back)...and the best, a new chair for the workshop to replace the bar stool I'd been using, so much ...

Re: My take on the Dec 1987 RCCA Project Optima truck
So, tonight my Turbo Optima truck took it's rightful place on my Kyosho shelf: 20250310_185715.jpg I noticed something I never thought of before in almost 40 years of lusting over this truck. 20250310_185849.jpg Nothing was said in the original article, but I think the RCCA truck's paint scheme was ...

Factory Works Ten4.1
I’m glad I purchased a kit from Jeff when I had a chance. It’s been stashed since September-24, but with the current situation there’s no excuse not to build. Initially I was going for a MIP Legends feel with a powder coated chassis, but now I’m just going with a gold pan. Haven’t decided how to ori...

Worth the wait, just released Fibrelyte JRX-Pro carbon chassis
I got this old chassis with a box of odd cars 5years ago now and have been slowly chipping away at rebuilding them. I had a new JRX-Pro and always liked it; this one had seen better days so I contacted Stephen at FibreLyte to look into Moulding a replacement kick up chassis. I sent him the old chass...

Losi Jrx -JJJ
So, what do you do when you´ve torn down two complete Jrx-chassis cars to get the best parts into a -91 worlds replica and is left with a lot of parts. You also have a box full of new parts. 20250301_143443.jpg On top of that, you´ve got an unused carbon “hybrid” chassis from the GP3D -91 words kit ...

Re: Back In My Day ..................
Couldn't decide if I should post this here or in the Currently Playing thread. Decided that you had to be an old fart to get the references.
