Tamiya SRB: Ranger to Scorcher Question

I picked up a SRB Ranger awhile back, and decided to pull it out and see what it would take to refresh. I just started into a puller project, but it is starting to sink in that that is a LONG TERM project, so still needs normal builds going on. I had it in my head that it was the same body as the Bl...

I will let know if the need comes up for anything, Thanks! BTW, ordered up a chassis plate a little earlier today.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Started experimenting with chrome nail powder as a possibility for chrome plating plastic. Of course, the YT videos always create better results, but I feel like I may be able to make something work. I do know now that I need a black base, so I have black spoons on order so I don't have to keep pain...

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

While I wait on some rear end parts, I am just experimenting with other things. I realized quickly that most people build pullers on a simple aluminum plate, and there is a reason for this, it is simple! You want something here, you screw it down there. I thought I was making a mistake with the ladd...

Re: a thread for BambuLab machines

Last night, I finally just said screw it and ordered the X1-CC! I went through the entire payment process, and went through PP and set up "Pay in 4" and got to the last cart screen, and there was a drop menu for "Country," and US wasn't listed :?: Come to find out I ended up on t...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

A diff and spool for a puller project (had to get into it quick to determine shaft size), FTW chassis plate for a SRB project, and a chassis for a next project.

Re: Let's Talk Tractor / Truck Pulling

So, for the rear pumpkin, the current plan as of 1936 EST 5/15/24 is to run a Traxxas Sledge differential, with a spool, and 7mm HSS driveshaft to 12mm hex couplers and aluminum Clod wheel adapters. This will probably change, but it is the current plan. I am thinking about just designing / printing ...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread

I have had this, relatively inexpensive, table top drill press for probably about 20 years or so. I just realized, or have long since forgotten, that it is adjustable speed. I actually discovered this by looking at FBMP for a replacement (with multiple speeds), and stumbled across the same o...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Woke up on a rainy Saturday, with no real plan, saw the SRB parts spread all over the place, and decided to get into it. Building this the opposite way you should. Get to a step, gather, repair and clean parts as needed, and assemble that step. Rinse and repeat. Makes for a slow build. This is my fi...
