Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - June 2024 ** - Winner - Frankentruck
It's sad that one of the insect cars didn't have a driver named Buzz.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
This week-end was busy. Yesterday I build a gaming computer for my son instead of working on my cars, and today there was another vintage event at about one hour and half drive from home... I was there at 9 this morning with my son to set the my stand... https://i.imgur.com/t4UQTY1.jpeg https://i.im...

The 1/10 Buggy Wheel Database!
So after much annoyance with manufactures not posting the specs for their wheels I'm starting to populate a list of wheels and their specs myself. Measuring the outside width, and backspacing from the mounting surface to the rear of the wheel along with putting part numbers and links if applicable. ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Well... I apprehensively made an ebay purchase from a seller in Taiwan and I am happy to report that it went well. I feel I paid a good price but didn't see the part about possibility of import duties and such until after I had made the purchase, needless to say I have been waiting for extra charges...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got a little head start on modeling the RC10 using the fantastic work of user fbmstar https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=46796 not too much detail and realism yet just a test pass. The idea is not to make parts but just to make photorealistic renderings and test body paint schemes for my CC &a...

RC10B1.5 resto mod
I recently picked up a T2 sport chassis from the ebay salvage yard with the intention of making a B1.5 woin buggy build. Its well used and scraped up but perfect for a runner. I cut it way down (1/2" at the lowest point), shortened the front of the chassis and trimmed a nose plate for now. Hone...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Picked up the remnants of a Traxxas Stampede, cheap. I figured that if the esc or Cirrus servo worked, it was worth it. Both worked, the esc just had a bad switch. 20240624_175406.jpg Also got a couple servo lots. The Shredders were one package and everything else was another. 20240624_175809.jpg

Factory Works Ten4.1 project
OK OK even I got caught up in the last MIP "announcement". Should have known. So, lets do it again. The Ten4 was good, but the parts are just all out of date. The B44 front axles especially. Materials have vastly improved. Ideas have improved. Announcing the Ten4.1 I started by completely ...

Re: RC10B1.5 resto mod
Yup, definitely has a b2/b3 vibe with the sides cut down. I made a little late night progress with getting the chassis drilled and nose plate mounted, I decided to mount it about an 1/8" forward from where the normal buggy length mounting holes would be, then shortened and drilled a pair of nos...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
OK OK even I got caught up in the last MIP "announcement". Should have known. .... Unlike Mr. Moore, Jeff won't hype us up and then put out a quick release screwdriver handle instead of this kit.... I knew there would eventually be a place to put this..... CB1_SP1C.jpg Great project, GoMa...
