So my aunt was throwing out a ton of boxes of old stuff. I was helping her move it out for trash day. It seems that my uncle was into RC stuff 30ish years ago. I took home about 6 boxes of stuff for planes, boats and cars. Found a complete gold pan in there. Lots of foam tires, extra wheels, servos,...

A worker asked me how I got in there and I replied "The door wasn't locked in any serious way."

The first picture is a non-bec receiver. The battery and both channels share the same positive and negative rails. This can still be used with an esc with internal bec. Truthfully, most modern receivers aren't bec. Do not directly connect more than ~6 volts directly to these. Screenshot_20221023_201...

Got a few of mine getting some air. Since I'm mainly a Monster Truck guy gettin air is the thing I enjoy the most. First three pics are of my custom built 1/5 scale tube chassis truck I finished last year. At 51lbs when it lands from 6ft of air it makes quite a "thump" on the ground :lol: ...

Congrats on the win romulus22! It was a really good group of excellent entries this month. That's an interesting nitro conversion. Just finished this build, nothing to special, basically a complete tear down and rebuild. I will at some stage be adding period correct electronics.

Got a lot of modern buggy wheels and tyres in the mail.... After last weekend's experience on the race track, not sure exactly what I'll do with these!
