Re: Turbo Ultima Help
Well, I don't consider myself a guru but I'll chime in anyway. :D Remember that your choice of backing color is important as it will alter the final color. Although it's probably not the best example, I've used Tamiya PS2 Red for the wing's side boards and it matches reasonably well with MCI repro d...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
For Christmas, I bought myself a RB10, without the RTR. I have about 26 minutes of internet research that makes me think this should work.
Santa brought most of it quicker than expected, and tomorrow is a PTO day, so I will find out soon enough.

Re: Building A RB10 From A DR10 Kit
This has become a great way for me to avoid the responsible Christmas prep stuff I should be doing right now. :D So, the mechanical build is done expect the motor and ESC, which should come it today. Oh, and the front bumper, which should also be here soon. Not a lot of build pics because it is just...

Re: Building A RB10 From A DR10 Kit
Seeing as this car was a Christmas gift to myself, it seemed fitting it finished up on Christmas Eve. :) One of the main goals in this build was to make a RB10 that didn't look like a RB10. In that regard, I think I was successful. I have a couple of loose ends to finish up, but it is 95% at this po...

What'ca get for Christmas?
The wife got me a Blackfoot.
She was going to get me a new charger as well but I was busy and never told her which one. That's okay, I'll buy it myself and get the points and discounts at Amain.

Re: Putting old bodies on modern cars. Lets see them!
What is that body from? It is a huge improvement. It's for a Yokomo YZ-10. Had to go with a fairly wide body because of how the pan is shaped on the B6.4. I also run this other body currently, but I have no clue what it's from, supposedly a Losi but not as classic as the other body but at least it ...

Re: AE TF-10: An AE Top Fuel Hodge Podge
Finally trying to warp this one up. Don't know about the graphics, but I won't worry with it now. Time to move on to other things. I still haven't driven it on the ground yet though ....................

Re: Motors Storage
I am not a motor collector at all, and have just started holding on to them more and more. I have found that a good ol' 540 fits well into my typical cheap storage boxes that I use for pretty much all my RC small parts storage. For about $6-7 each, these bins work pretty well. https://www.walmart.co...

Re: Outlaw Rampage Pro runner-build
Next up was the "feared“ SST-Transmission It was quite notchy along with the diff when I tried it before disassembly. After opening it, I discovered it to be bone dry and the teeth clogged with plastic dust from abrasion. All the parts went into the ultrasonic cleaner. Had to chase all the teet...
