Re: What in the R/C would you do?
I would "loosen" the tracks resulting in lower corner speeds and cars sliding around. This promotes passing. Passing (or at least trying to pass) is racing. I am not a fan of what (to me) is just processional Formula 1 with hills. I tried watching EFRA (I am a Schumacher fan and they compe...

Re: Forum News & Discussion
It's funny how after all that work, it looks like I did nothing at all... Forest for the trees... Noticeable difference in appearance without looking like a whole new theme. Most importantly... the site and pages loads a LOT faster than before. I give it two thumbs up! I kept thinking of the ...

Re: Forum News & Discussion
Alright, after working on the board for over 7 hours straight, everything has been updated. I still have a bunch to do but it's currently 8:00am, and I'm off to bed. I'll work on it some more later this evening. It's funny how after all that work, it looks like I did nothing at all... Did the skin ...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A new car for the project shelf… This 870c was previously owned by someone who should be banned for life from using a screwdriver or drill so there is some work to be done  I can fix most of the damage so finding parts like the shocks, ball studs and front tires is going to be the most difficu...

Re: 60th Anniversary Joel Johnson Ultima?!?!
Preordered through tower, thanks for that! Don't forget to use the code "hobby" to save $55 (or $75 if you are a super saver member). It's actually best to become a super saver member for $10 to get the $20 more off, netting you another $10 savings plus future perks

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
mini spot welder...? Yep, it is literally just a rechargeable battery that acts like a mini spot welder. There are bunches of them on Amazon that are very similar, and probably all made in the same factory. I chose this one because it has 11 "gears" of adjustability. I just imagine the de...

Re: Traxxas TRX1 NIB + Upgrades build (?)
Well, I think this is about as close as I am going to take it towards replicating the box art photo. The 2 big differences are the drive shafts, and front tires. I did change the front springs out, mounted and wired the motor, added the Tamiya plug, and made some further changes. The manual shows th...
