Re: Possible Kinwald Edition RC10 inbound?

The fact that the chassis is machined is way better than I expected. Couldn't really care about certain screws to be honest, that's the easy stuff. Yeah, and after zooming in the screws may not be the black hex. If they are, those are easy to replace as you say. The only phillips screws are the 8-3...

Looks exactly like the one in my DS, which is fine
The DS has the one that is reversible for mid motor. The 2014 Worlds release did not. The little ridges are a giveaway. Still a 2.25.

Team-car re-re runner by Janus

….Best laid plans….: Ok, so my previous RC10 runner a.k.a. “The Mutant” was done, had to check every nut and bolt after every run and it had already worn out it’s second chassis. But it was build in…well… ehhmmm... 2009, that explaines a lot;-) Anyway, so it was economically unviable to resurrect i...

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

This makes me want to source a Hydra Drive and all the extra bits to really take it to the next level. That said, I'm impressed AE went as far as they did to get it 90% of the way there. My favorite release from them thus far, for sure. Edit: Eh, maybe not on the Hydra Driver considering what they'r...

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

Just notice 1 thing they missed, at least for the photo shoot. They didn't cut down the wing tubes, so add that to your list of things to do when building.

Re: Xxt graphite plus runner

What are you planning on doing with it? XXt CR Graphite plus is a very capable vintage race platform. Transmission cases are weak spots, Jeff at Factoryworks.com makes a very cheap.trans brace tab that helps safeguard the cases (unless the T plate breaks too....and they can.... then both are trashed...

Re: The Kinwald Edition RC10 (it is here!)

Noticed that some decals were added after the race to the original body, which resides on a replica chassis now (original chassis was stolen in Japan according to BK). One being the "Ezekiel" on the wing (what is that sticker for anyway?) although there was at least one of these on the bac...

Re: Losi Junior Pro Se

That looks really good! Thanks! 8) Now with a XX CR body I painted back in the day (a bit poorly - I must have touched up some spots after removing the window masks and dusted the windows a bit). The XX body sides are a bit short for the Pro SE chassis, so I may decide to swap to an SE body. Anyway...

Kyosho Ultima 1987 2WD World Champion Car - Vintage World Specification

This is a vintage 1987 Kyosho Ultima loaded with all the popular upgrades from the 1980s. Getting a fully vintage modified Kyosho Ultima in pristine condition was a rare find. Consider this an authentic "World Spec" Ultima driven by Kyosho drivers (aside from the Optima body and wing) at t...

Re: Losi hits it out of the park again!!!!!!

I mean the micros are fun but it's really funny when you realize they don't even have a 1/10 scale Truck anymore, the very thing the mini and micro are modeled after.

Re: Team-car re-re runner by Janus

1st Clubrace today with the car. Qualified 5th in the A-main. Not fast enough for the fast guys, and since you're lacking cornering speed a bit hard to race head-to-head against LD3's, B7's and B6's. Lost some spots by own stupidity and won some spots by misfortune of others, and ended up where I st...
