I decided to scan some hobby shop ads from RCCA and found out that maybe Sheldon's Hobbies and Stormer Racing ads would be the best and most informational for us. I did scan those ads from every January and July magazines starting from January 1990, that is the oldest January or July RCCA magazine t...

Vintage Race Video - RRC Series, '91 4WD Oswestry Rd.5 A-Final
I was sent this video clip a couple of weeks ago and have just managed to upload it on to YouTube. I never thought I would ever get to see this race again so was massively chuffed to discover this footage had been taken, focusing on the late Matthew Hodgson and his Tomy Intruder who qualified on pol...

Re: RC10Talk community build
While the car has several modern elements, I'd place the overall theme in the late 80's. I'd definitely say that its pre-Team Car.Dirtburner wrote: ↑Fri Aug 27, 2021 9:19 pmWhat time period are you placing this buggy in?MarkyDents wrote: ↑Thu Aug 26, 2021 1:34 pmI think those pair up real nice and definitely lend themselves very well to the time period this car invokes.

A Quick Bullet Resto
The pandemic has been taxing my patience and wallet for the past 16 months. I decided to build a collection of sets of cars from a few different manufactures-EX) RC10, RC10T, RC10L, TC3, etc. I've been focusing the most on vintage Traxxas as of late and picked up a pretty complete Bullet that needed...

Re: dinglem's daily drivers
The Mardave Meteor. This car was the focus of a series of mag articles over in the UK where a famous driver by the name of Greg Halliday gradually modified it in an attempt to compete with the RC10. This was the cheapest British car on the market, with the kit costing just 49.99pounds. Spare parts c...

1989 IFMAR Worlds Sydney, Australia VHS
Hi All,
I've uploaded the 1989 Ifmar worlds held in Australia. I downloaded this many years ago and it seemed to disappear off the internet. Luckily I found a copy on an old backup I had.
Cheers

Re: Vintage Nylon Parts Durability
Old AE nylon has to be rehydrated as it loses moisture and gets brittle over time. Once hydrated again, it is plenty strong to use on a runner.

DO NOT boil yokomo bulkhead caps or Traxxas trans halves. Throwing in room temp water for longer is safer if yo...
