Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

Everyone stock up and re-sell for millions on ebay 30 years from now, I'll be in a nursing home by then. I doubt the resale will be like it is/was with actual original vintage stuff. not sayin they wont be worth anything but there's a lot of people buyin these reres to keep nib thinkin its so...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

To me the car is a total rip-off of Jeff's kit...looks nothing like the prototype car that ran in the IFMAR 's that they are promoting in they're ads online...and it's not an opinion..it's a fact.

Re: Back In My Day ..................

Awwww yeah. Spent many hours watching content in that format hoping for a boob or better. The best part was the discovery a cable box could be manipulated to unscramble things. There was a device that screwed in-between the coaxial cable and the box. It was a small silver cylindrical device ma...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

I am curious to see if it will be legal for vintage racing. Technically it IS a re-re (of Jeff's car from several months ago). The Old School Euro Masters event has deemed it legal for racing in their 88-93 class, as that's when the belt drive MIP conversion was available. Those defending the...

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

They didn't have to spend a lot on R&D costs.... Too soon  I spoke with Curtis yesterday, we are all good. Ultimately they did what I wanted to do- molded parts, refinements, etc that only a company with money could do. I like what they did (maybe not the way they went about it, lol)...

Frankentruck's RC10 SSC10BB (Belted Build)

I had this pile of nice parts that deserved to go into a build. Then I finally latched onto an SSC10 chassis after missing one with some nice extras. But what about a black World's cut nose plate.... Hey, Yeah Racing makes one! Why not give that a try? Not everything I need is here (or has been loca...

Re: RC hobby good for wellbeing? According to psychologists...

I recently saw pictures of WAPO or the Times, I don't remember which, but is was a major newspaper with two completely different headlines on the same cover story depending on what area of town, i.e. which side of the aisle, was going to be reading it. We do not have any credible news outlets anymore.
