Re: Mid-motor Losi XX
Front brace reinforcement from Factory Works. You just have to drill one hole into your front brace, which is a small price to pay for the extra strength. Serviceability of the XX makes itself known here, because you need to take out the hinge pin to remove the brace. However, taking that out means ...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
OK OK even I got caught up in the last MIP "announcement". Should have known. .... Unlike Mr. Moore, Jeff won't hype us up and then put out a quick release screwdriver handle instead of this kit.... I knew there would eventually be a place to put this..... CB1_SP1C.jpg Great project, GoMa...

Had some time to work on the interior. Im not good at small details but I am trying to get it as close as the Kill Bill movie. Stay Tuned and thanks to everyone who is following this one.

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
I added a section on our website for the Ten4, it will be a place to keep up to date of the releases and also links to purchase. https://factoryworks.com/the-ten4-returns I also listed the "oops" key fobs in case anyone wants to support the project by helping cover some of our mistakes :lo...

Re: Ten4.1 or How I learned to stop worrying and start cad'ing
Ideally it's best to buy as we go, as the first round feeds the ability to do the second and so on. Once all are finalized, only then might there be a "kit". The pullies and idlers unlock the ability to complete the already available shapeways parts too, which some people already have. In ...

Re: Post Pictures of your Losi Vehicles
Hello everybody  A picture of a car with a paint done for a vintage race in Normandy, France (not far from Omaha Beach) in November 2023. The paint makes the body looking like a "steel machine", I like it. Have a great week-end, https://nsm09.casimages.com/img/2024/06/29//24062901304...

Pukka Parts SRB
I found Pukka Parts on Facebook, with this SRB conversion kit. It's more or less an MIP style setup.
Really nicely done stuff, a combo of frp and printed parts.

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - July 2024 ** - Winner -GrePo
Before Tsukuba's R/C designers reveal their latest Buggy rebirth, I want to show you my genuine Dogfighter. Body was brushed in an age, when electric cars acted gas powered models, staged by stickers e.g. Texaco, Bardahl, STP a.o. Motor is made by Mabuchi for Graupner. It is similar to what they mad...

Re: Looks like AE is going to actually have vintage parts support
Thank goodness! Like I said to Don Natale when I sent an email asking about this. People are going to run these rere kits and they are going to break stuff and they are going to need replacement parts!

Re: RC10 B1 Mid Motor Laydown Buggy
Creeping forward with this. I haven't decided on buggy or truck. So far the answer is 'Yes.'
. . .
Actually, scratch that. I already know it's going to be a buggy. I've been hanging onto this ratty body for it.
