Re: Source Nix91 "Replica" Parts Without Shapeways??
Hello All, Good discussion here and good perspectives. I'm working to get the "NIX91 Replica" parts on the Imaterialise site. It will take a while because I have to order the parts for myself first. And before that I still have to make a design to pack the parts into a small space, because...

Team Losi LX-T
In 1992, after nearly four years of production, Team Losi replaced their JRx-T 1/10 2wd off-road race truck with a new model, the LX-T. Major pickup points and bolt hole locations would remain the same between the outgoing JRx-T and the new LX-T allowing racers the opportunity to upgrade their exist...

a few tear down pics of the rere 834b
Couple pics of the 834b rere. The rear mono shock portion is a bolt on and has adjustable down travel limiters, and is bearing supported. The rear stabilizer bolts to a fairly original looking support but they drilled a couple holes for setscrews. The parts are mostly compatible-ish, but all 4mm hol...

Re: Rear Cab Body for AE RC10 B6 / B7 - FINALLY
Based on this thread I bought one and must say I really dig it. My B7 looks really unique and different with this body. At first glance it doesn't really look like a B7 at all. Up close all the Associated blue hardware gives it away, but from the drivers stand I could tell people anything and they'd...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
Id hold off on the FanRc until he sorts the gritty diff plates and fixes the gear mesh issue. As much as I hate to say it, the AE trans is probably the way to go for now at least.Raman wrote: Does one go this route to build a stealth? Or maybe it's easier to get the FanRC one?

MX-4 Forever 008 Arrived! Early Unboxing from Japan
Doorbell rings and Japanese delivery man with a big box arrives. I have no idea what it is...until I see the G Force envelope within. The long awaited MX-4 Forever by Papa and Masami arrived early! Here is my unboxing of 008. This is the luckiest number in Chinese culture because “Ba” sounds similar...

Re: FanRC FR01 TEN4.1 (Revised)
It hit me today that I need to finish this vehicle very soon, or I never will. I started looking at the body, and trimmed and test fitted the stock Turbo Mirage body, and really just didn't like it. It has been stated, and I will agree, the body quality is meh, and I didn't really like how it fit ov...

Re: Next up- The Halsey edition RC10
The new gear diff FanRC trans requires drilling the motor plate but I don't think you drill the chassis at all. From what I've seen it's just a simple drill jig for the motor plate
But yeah that's the main thing we concentrated on with our case- no drilling for ANY rc10, and any brace fits as well

Team Losi XX
in 1993 Team Losi replaced their JRx line of 1/10 2wd electric off-road buggies with an entirely new model, called, the XX. The "Double-X" originated at the 1991 IFMAR Worlds as the code name for their prototype, parts of which would be used to create the JRx Pro SE in 1992 before becoming...

Re: MX-4 Forever 008 Arrived! Early Unboxing from Japan
I wish I could have afforded to get one. I did ask Masami about parts when these were first announced and I think they are going to be selling spare parts and such for those brave enough to run them. Personally I wish I could get a hold of the car in kit form for a lower price, for running, but dou...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne
I'm in My entry is the Marui Racing Buggy, aka Hunter prototype (at very least, this is the inspiration, from a single picture) https://i.imgur.com/X7RrfXd.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/hXNwRk6.jpeg Again, this is relying a lot on 3D printed parts : At the very exception of the wheels (orginals from a Ma...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne
Gonna take you back to an very important car in my rc history. 1989. This was my ultima that was modified as much as my budget for a 16 year old could afford mowing lawns (which I still do to this day for a living). Our local track converted to dirt oval. It was a very loamy heavily watered soil so ...
