Re: Plazma Limited - Last 1/12 Re-Release?

If it helps, work with your hands and components in a gallon ZipLoc or freezer bag as you put on the circlips. If you send one to the moon, the bag almost always catches it.

Re: Serpent F190 - 1/8th Scale Modern F1

Congratulations, you've acquired a gorgeous car. In your typical fashion, I'm sure it will be a meticulous build.

Do you happen to own the older F180 variant? That was a fascinating car, especially with its front disc controlled braking system.

Traxxas GRT - Did this ever exist in the wild?

The November 1994 RCCarAction mag makes reference to a Traxxas GRT as a follow up to the Nitro Hawk. It is described as a prototype based on the SRT platform, and I assume that it eventually became the Nitro Rustler. I realize this was never a production vehicle, but do any other images exist? Has a...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

The Kyosho Blizzard DX was a blast ito operate n the snow, as was the later nitro variant. For the Nitro, I would keep spray bottle of de-icer handy, as the snow would melt near the heat of the engine and ice the drive chains. The muffled sound of the double exhaust and the plume of smoke were also ...

Re: How to bond PLA prints together?

One thing to note if using CA on PLA joints...

Depending on the amount of handling of the joint, certain PLA filaments will show CA vapor fogging worse than others. If the joined part is cosmetic, clean properly with isopropyl first and handle with care to avoid fogging.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

@GoMachV

So did you have advance notice of this and stopped production of your conversion kit in anticipation of the release?

I mean no disrespect, but I would be a little heated if a company copied a years long passion project of mine without any sort of acknowledgement.

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)

I'm not going to lie, I would rather put my money where my mouth is and buy the conversion from you.

At best, I'll send you an order for some parts instead of buying this release.

I have an Ultima II project in the works that needs pieces. I also recently bought an SRT conversion from Jeff that is top shelf!
