Tamiya / Tonka Fire Truck
So, a few weeks ago, I ran across this semi-local ad on FBMP. It was for a Tamiya Grand Hauler fire truck, but it wasn’t a complete truck, just the body and accessories; you had to add your own GH chassis and drivetrain. Well, it just so happened that I have a GH project that I go mostly done previo...

Re: Tamiya / Tonka Fire Truck
So the plan for this thing is to get it fairly realistic, but it isn't going to be some stupid expensive rig at all. Full lights and sounds will be the main adds for the truck itself, and then the ladder will actually become an almost sperate project, and it will be run off its own Rx and have 5-7 c...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
I just have to share this, as I am as giddy as a school-girl right now. There is a decent chance that I pick up an original '80s RC10 tomorrow morning!! At 50, I have never owned an original new B1, and I don't want to say bucket list, but pretty effing cool! Something like this ha...

Re: Bored? Come To The Chit / Chat Thread
15 hours has passed. Hoping the deal comes through. Thanks!! Very Proud Owner! :D I am usually the next guy in line when these deals pop up, so super excited about this one! And no joke, this was about 4 minutes away from where I was planning to be today. And because of various things going on thes...

The RC10 4wd
I only know that this was sent to me, no way to validate it.
If it's real, I would have to think it's the MIP project that will be tied to AE. I can't imagine both MIP and AE are working on the same thing.

Re: Hirobo 44Bs and Zerda :)
My friend Johann did a great work with some sticker. They arrived yesterday, and it did not took long for them to be in place on the car... We made together some variations of the original stickers in order to hint about the true nature of the car... https://i.imgur.com/vZUm6eE.jpeg https://i.imgur....

Re: per RC10resto's request i do for a living arcade/pinball
Was working in Las Vegas and made a couple stops at this place. Pretty cool, but too many machines were out of order.
Still had a blast, took me back to 1978!

Re: The RC10 4wd (or how AE stole the Ten4 project)
I'm not going to lie, I would rather put my money where my mouth is and buy the conversion from you. At best, I'll send you an order for some parts instead of buying this release. You should. Jeff's parts second to none. I grabbed enough of his parts to make a runner and a shelfer Ten4.1. So excite...

Re: The retro-not-real Turbo Ultima build
The timing of my re-entry into RC kinda missed the JJ Ultima kit. This was OK; I managed to turn the 87 WC kit into a fairly faithful copy of the Turbo Ultima I actually wanted. I’ve collected most parts for a long arm DPRC build but we have some discussion on those topics going already and I’ll get...

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025
This thing identifies as a RC10T. It has one of the $20 Injora transmissions on a heavily "modified" A stamp chassis. The rear is filled out with ECX shafts, heavily clearanced 10T arms, and Traxxas carriers. The front uses a 10T nose and bulkhead, Traxxas arms. The front hex setup is piec...

This is "Hotmess". My junker hornet. Screenshot_20250306-130658_Gallery.jpg The electronics are spares that I had from rebuilding other cars. The esc from my old stampede is on deaths door and has no reverse. It has an ampro locking battery door and ampro shock mount. The shock mount crack...

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025
This is "Microphone Fast Car". Or at least that's what the body says on it in a language I can't read. I wanted a runner I could beat on a bit and not feel bad about it. This buggy is going to fit that want. Build: https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=47408 Run video: ht...

Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025
Here is my "ugly runner"....It started as an Associated T3 stadium truck. The chassis, rear shock tower, bumper and braces are all G-10 fiberglass, hand-cut on a scroll saw...Dimensions have been stretched to short course specs. The bulkhead is actually a servo mount from Exotek, and steer...
