Re: POS Runner of the Month - March 2025

Tamiya super blackfoot, nick-named: Junkyard Dog. Had this baby since it was new in the box. Its been through hell and back, and then through hell again. Every thing is original except for the random assortment of screws used for repairs. The body has been repaired so many times it's worthy of the n...

Re: My take on the Dec 1987 RCCA Project Optima truck

Nice! Ever take it out to Windrock? (Who am I kidding? It looks cleeeeean.) I have an XJ that I take to Windrock. It's about 30 min from where I live. While the MJ is quite capable I want to keep it as nice as I can. For MJ's, 91's & 92's are the Holy Grail if it has a 4.0L. Mine's also a short...

Re: off topic: fry sauce

The second is definitely NOT meatloaf, but a delicious acquired taste. (A Pennsylvania Deutsch thing) Ooh, I think I know what that is, can't remember what it's called, but I remember an episode of Dirty Jobs that covered the making of this meat thing that was a lot like Spam (the canned mea...

Re: off topic: fry sauce

On the subject of hot dogs, an old staple of New England are fried hot dog slices mixed with baked beans sometimes called beanie weenies. :P The best hot dog bun (New England style) was also invented in this part of the country. They're basically rectangle in shape so they stand up better, and you c...

Re: off topic: fry sauce

It's been 20 years or more but I remember liking pickled pigs feet. There wasn't much in that house that wasn't available pickled 🤣 still have a crazy craving for pickled beets to this day.

Re: WLToys curiosity project

We run LCRacings version of these in 1/14 scale. Not sure who copied who lol LC has the a 1/10 1/12 and1/14 buggies and truggys, the brushless kits are essentially the same thing. The cool thing about LCRacing is they are available as complete unassembled kits. And the LC cars have a full line of ca...

Re: My graveyard of carcasses has arrived

So, a little progress; got the measles-looking pan bead blasted, epoxy primered, and painted with VHT Burnt Copper. Cleaned and dyed black all the purple plastics. Started reassembly, but I need to pick up some new hardware, and many other parts. Slow but steady progress. It will probably need to be...
