Be careful with the hot glue, it could melt those printed parts.
I'd probably use Shoe Goo or Mod Podge. Both dry clear (Mod Podge dries crystal clear) and I'm pretty sure they will accept paint but you might want to test them with your paint.

Done som assembly on the rear end. Drilled extra holes in the rear shock tower and fitted four 4-40 3/4 screws along with nuts. Hardened stuff generally should be ground or filed instead of drilled. Just gotta be careful not to overheat it as you risk warping them. The jammin jay kit is perfect though!
