Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
The silver CC shocks would look good on this build.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
You could run the gold shocks and go with a Green Goblin paint scheme. Would have to fabricate a pumpkin bomb launcher though. Maybe B.A. and Murdock still have the blueprints to that lettuce head cannon. You could just scale that down. :D Further research indicates it was, in fact, a cabbage cannon.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
Didn’t think I’d like the green so much!
Am I the only one who used a 4-40 tap in the ball cups!? lol I’d have given up on them w/o the tap, nothing I had here could hold the cups without destroying them.

With some of the resto's I've done relating to aluminium parts - shocks/chassis plates etc - I just removed the anodising - Polished them to a shine - polishing before anodising gives a better finish - Have re-anodised locally(at a company) in a different colour to set mine apart from the standard k...

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
Oven cleaner is the easiest and fastest method, just don't leave it in there too long, 5 - 10 minutes at a time.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
The original yellow can Easy-off is what you’re going to want to use. Your going to have to babysit it but it’ll definitely get it done and quick

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
These were mostly stripped with Easy-Off. I used a Dremel and brass wire wheel to remove any remnants.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
I’m thinking that’s probably just a degreaser…..IMG_1550.jpeg It has the same Sodium Hydroxide (lye) in it, that the aerosol does. Here's the proof :) https://i.imgur.com/Y6g430B.jpg https://i.imgur.com/wI6Hmof.jpg I did want the inside of the shocks left orange. What's everybody using to polish th...
