I start with white polishing compound from Harbor Freight, with a polishing wheel on a Dremel.
Instead of the screw on mandrel, I use the ones made for a cutoff wheel.
Then I use Mothers wheel polish with a buffing wheel on the Dremel.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
For a final hand polish I like Eagle One wadding polish, it's like a polish infused cotton. Brasso also works good on aluminum.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
Nice looking polishing kit you picked up.
Been meaning to ask you, how do you post your pictures that they cannot be clicked on and opened up in another page so as to see them more clearly when zooming in ?

Re: RC10 40th Green Edition
@LoboNYC made a great example. The HPI Fastback body is really nice. hRNosHPmbAM Thank you for the kind words man! That mustang fastback body is actually from Vatera and comes with chrome plated front and rear bumpers and side mirrors. It was a challenge to use because body width is 190mm and the D...

Looks good.
I'm amazed you were able to foil the bumper in one piece. Nice!

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
....would always rush through a build of a Snap Tite model, without paint, and then wonder why it didn't look exactly like the box    You too, huh? The box art drew me in then the frenzy of snapping parts off the tree and following the assembly instructions took over. Paint was for c...

Re: Was KISS the hottest band in the world? 77'/78'
All I can add is vivid memories that when I was 5 in 1978 I saw Kiss everywhere. In 1978 they were near the top if not the top Halloween costume that year. I have very vivid memories of this.

Re: Was KISS the hottest band in the world? 77'/78'
I remember when they took off their makeup on MTV in 83 and we were like "ugghh....put your makeup back on...their ugly!"
They had some good tunes bitd and I went to the hot in the shade 90 tour at Red Rocks. They do put on a great show I must admit.

Re: RC10 Green Edition - Build
Verify the thread on those CRP axles. The last ones I got had M3.5 threads and came with M4 nuts. I also have an older set with M4 threads.

Re: Kyosho Nitro Lineup 1993
That 911 is sweet! Had no idea that was out there. Kyosho also did that 930 Slant Nose too, didn't they? At some point in the mid-late 90's, the USA-1 Nitro Crusher became based off of the Inferno MP-5, they changed the gas tank too at that time. Thanks for posting these articles, didn't read the m...

Re: Kyosho Nitro Lineup 1993
The tank and pan are very similar. Indeed the pans are very similar, I'd go so far to say deceptively so being the Inferno was an evolution of the Burns. But between the USA-1 N/C and inferno MP-5 the bulkheads, suspension, motor/drive systems, and their mounting points are all different. Cross ref...
