Hornet Beach Bash Aftermath
Took the hornet for a blast on the beach last night. Ended up doing some pulls with another dude who was running an x maxx. My hornet is positively tiny and slow compared to that, but it did great! After all that salt, it might be time for another teardown.

Re: Officially an RC10 owner
Stop reminding me... I wanted that one but I sort of have a real project car demanding my attention, and cant justify spending more money on new RCs until I get rid of some of the ones I'm not using.

Re: Hornet Beach Bash Aftermath
Anytime I took an R/C to the beach while on vacation in the '90s, I knew never to go near the water. :!: It was tempting due to the wet sand being the best place to run but I had no way to really tear everything down immediately after so it stayed off-limits. The receiver also went in a plastic bag...

Stumbled on a track at a local park
Took my hornet and stampede out for a run. In my excitement that theres an RC track that I dont have to pay (im not serious enough to pay $30 a day, hobbytown) to use, I didnt get any pics of the track but did get these two. Ran one pack on the hornet (which consisted mostly of flipping over on jump...

Re: C Stamp Gold Pan Runner/Racer build
The mid-late cars are my favorite. The long arms look better, and bonus points for a stealth. Keep in mind this is coming from someone who doesnt own an rc10.

APM Custom Hobbies King Cab Parts
I've not seen hardly any of these pictured on the internet. So I figured I'd share mine. APM Front and Rear Bumper, APM Rear Chassis Plate, and Side Bars (maybe). 20240930_220133.jpg 20240930_220257.jpg 20240930_220153.jpg These, I am not sure about. They dont seem to match the size of the APM King ...

Re: ** Build of the Month Contest - October 2024 ** - Winner - TheDiamondOne
Sassy Chassis Tamiya King Cab According to the nice woman I purchased it from, it was built in the 1990s by her husband, driven for years, passed down to their daughter, driven some more, then listed on Offerup and scooped up by me. It is by far the most upgraded (and probably valuable) RC I own. It...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
I got rather wet and soggy at the meldrum bar track. Also drove through a puddle that was a big larger than I bargained for and injured my hornet. It will probably be fine once it dries out though. So will my shoes.

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?
Finally joining the club. Found a goldpan around the $150 mark that hasn't been swiss cheesed. Couldn't pass it up.

Re: I started a youtube rc page
Hey, if your content is marked as "for kids", people cannot comment on it. Not sure if that's on purpose or not but thought I'd point that out.
Edit: Ok, I guess not. Ignore me.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Made some custom chassis protectors out of vinyl for my sassy chassis king cab. The letters for the apm sticker were cut on a brother scan&cut (hate that thing), the flames were hand drawn and cut with a razor blade

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Soldered some new wires onto a Trinity Monster Tri Rotor motor. Anyone know how many turns one of these is? Gotta be pretty low turns, its absolutely savage in my king cab. Power delivery is just instant and theres torque for days. But, it also seems to make everything overheat, and I dont really kn...
