Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Not sure if it’s possible with a Sassy Chassis, but there is a way/conversion that allows the Stealth trans. to go in a King Cab. Here's a look for starters https://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?t=40671&hilit=Stealth+transmission+king+cab+conversion That's the dream for a king cab build. For n...

I now own a goldpan

After that interesting ebay situation (well, it's not actually over yet) I found this rc10 on offerup. It was fairly cheap in rc10 terms, and looks to be a mashup of a bunch of different parts. Should make a nice runner that I dont have to care too much about and that's really what I want in an rc10.

Re: A Nice article on self-tapping screws for plastic

Idk, I back thread before threading in, I've never stripped a screw hole with one of these. Seems like if you exercise some amount of caution you'll be fine on the reassembly front.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Picked up this awesome rc10 body with a vintage Warpaint paintjob. Shipped in a padded mailer (ugh, just dont) but it got here safe.

My first rc paintjob

Finally got around to painting the brand new body for my hornet show car. Spaz Stix candy apple red on the body and mirror chrome on the wing. It's not perfect, but for a first time I think it's pretty good.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Fixed some seized bearings and put some more zip stiches on my hornet. Appropriate slogan for the "Hotmess" as I've dubbed it.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???

Parts from this company are super quality, no evidence of 3d..look factory...stupid fast shipping Dadio designed all these parts 20241122_145227.jpg Very interesting. I've actually been looking for a service like that. About how much do they charge? About $1 per part...metal parts about $8....shipp...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

The sport tuned's last stand. It survived two sessions at the sandy dirt track in the wet, couple beach trips, and a couple snow days, but looks like it finally gave it up on the beach today. Had a few minutes of fun before the motor got really slow, loud and hot. I could probably fix it, but a new ...

Candy Green RC10

Did up my second ever lexan body! Tamiya candy green over spaz stix silver flake with a metallic gold stripe. I've named this car Cashflow because, well, all my cash somehow flows directly into it. Speaking of, JC Racing wheels and J Concepts tires are next on the agenda. Oh, and a wing.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

Bearinged, duburred, and installed diff ring lockers on my 6 gear runner. The diff actually works now, and isnt just a slipping mess. Transmission is silky smooth and id be lying if I said a wasn't pretending to be jay halsey the entire time.
