Did an RC thing for the first time in a while. Cut a new TBG body and undertray for my Astute. Forgot to get paint at the hobby store.

Revived some old locked up PTFE 3/8×5/8 bearings to use for my rc10 outdrives. Finally making sure there will be less sand getting in.

Joined the cool kids club and put some mip cvds on my rc10 to replace the falling-apart dogbones.

Ran the rc10 at the track after installing the mip cvds, wide front arms, new rear bulkhead, and outdruve bearings. It's amazing! Although it's inability to go fast is more reflective of the driver...

Did up my TBG Astute body. All spray cans except for the hex patterning.

Well, I finally did it. I got a load of junk from offerup and it's exactly that. Junk. But, there were a few gems. Mostly, it's junky helicopter parts. Restoring a slot machine motor for my Astute project. No idea if these are the correct parts for a slot machine, but they're the ones that fit. Im waiting on bearings and brushes to so i can reassemble it. New can label by ultrahive.

Got some rere universals after I got a refund for the busted MIPs. Hopefully these are more durable.

No clue if that was the right armature but it did fit. So I'm calling it good enough, or at least better than being disassembled in a wet box.
