Re: So You're Into RC Cars. WTF Else Do You Do?
I collect O gauge trains. Prewar trains are my favorite followed by Postwar. Lionel mostly but some other companies. I am a retired firearms instructor for the biggest police department in the US so I have a decent size collection of work tools as well. Reloading for the previously mentioned tools i...

Re: RC10DS - Kit and Build review.
My sanity was restored. Seriously. I was ready to put the kit back in the box and put it in the attic.RogueIV wrote: ↑Sun Sep 15, 2024 12:30 amGlad it's helping people!Brendan2904 wrote: ↑Sat Sep 14, 2024 10:40 pm This thread and your notes in the instructions have helped immensely! Re: Did you ever or do you race now?
Never raced. Only bashed or schoolyard/street/yard ran. I have been on a real track twice in my life. This year and last year my son and I went to Beach RC when we were on vacation and ran our cars on the track there. It was so cool. Both times we had the place to ourselves and just had a blast. The...

Re: Did you ever or do you race now?
Something about dirt, tires, motor spray, solder flux, hot electronics smells all mixed together...you know what I'm talking about. If it was a candle scent it would be called "at the track". Very true. I recently bought some discontinued tires off eBay, NIP. When they arrived they smelle...

Re: Cougar Classic Motor and ESC rec’s
I'm with Frankentruck on the brushed comment. Especially if you have any old nostalgic ones you can clean up. This esc is hard to beat for casual running imo. No set up at all. You can afford to have one in every casual runner too. https://www.amainhobbies.com/hobbywing-quicrun-1060-1-10-brushed-es...

Re: Cougar Classic Motor and ESC rec’s
I’m going to lose my mind. I was able to get into the box and check things out. I got to the sticker sheet and it was not what I was expecting. No racing stripes or the like. So I’m going to have the worst painted Cougar Classic ever! I say that because the only thing I do better than painting is so...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
I have that one and the larger version and it gives me peace of mind knowing that my batteries are stored in them. On a side note I would rather not see how effective they are if you get what I mean lol.
