Re: So, what did you do RC today?

A little motor rehab. Actually, just new decals on motors that I'd already rebuilt.

The Kyosho's are real. The B&R is a 19/2 Yoko, Speedworks is a 19/2 Trinity, one blue label is a Yoko super stock, and the other is a MVP arm and endbell in a mod can.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?

This week-end was busy. Yesterday I build a gaming computer for my son instead of working on my cars, and today there was another vintage event at about one hour and half drive from home... I was there at 9 this morning with my son to set the my stand... https://i.imgur.com/t4UQTY1.jpeg https://i.im...

Re: RC10 Graphite rebuild - the doom buggy rides again

For nostalgia I dressed the buggy up in its race winning livery, or as close an approximation as I can get. This is pretty much the identical tire and wheel package that I had on the car during its first race. Trinity front wheels and tires (literally the same 30+ year old trinity tires in front). H...

I'm really tempted to give it front and rear laydown suspension, because I have some extra parts.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

Let the money grab commence  just about to post reply asking who would buy this for $20! The target would be guys on this forum among other places, but there's no itch whatsoever to buy this thing for $20. Then I realized I just bought ball bearing kits for the 40th and CC that will never be r...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

If I went by that logic, only like three of my cars would even have electronics in them. And none of those are nice ones. My view is that all of my cars should be ready to run, regardless if I have any intention to do it. If you can say that this hobby has mental challenges, that is one of the most...

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary

Well I just actually got an email from AE saying that they are pretty much not going to make spare parts for the 40. Sent a link with suggestions. All this after I was trying to put something together and the screwdriver slipped and I ended up putting a hole in the side of the transmission case 🤦‍♂...

The piece is somewhere on the floor 😡 I can’t find it.

I’m thinking about some CA gel in there might work or some putty that hardens to fill the hole.
