Re: YZ10 rere from Associated
I wish they would space these out a bit. My bank account can’t keep up.

Re: YZ10 rere from Associated
The Reader's Digest version is that AE had all they could handle making RC10s, so they didn't have the capacity to also do a 4WD racer. Their team drivers had to run RC10s in 2WD obviously, but were free to run any 4WD. A lot of them chose Yokomo. Yokomo was in basically the same situation only rev...

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Got this today... it was sitting on ebay auctions, with no interest for quite some time, and I keyed my auction at the last second, and got it right away... https://i.imgur.com/08JhaHh.jpeg https://i.imgur.com/bjSTaQK.jpeg A Graupner Super Speed Race Car, or Kyosho Mach Sports, with a BMW M1 bodyshe...

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
Ah.. first thing that came to my mind is RC10L/RC12L... I'm in the process of cleaning up my old 10L's. It has to be the TC3? You know you're getting old when you don't even think it's that old. To this day It's still a great platform.

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
This year I have purchased a mint OG RC10DS, a mint RC10B3 Team kit, a mint RC10T2 with flo-orange powder coated chassis, built a hybrid World's Car with a mix of Re-re and Fan RC Parts, finished up my OG late Edinger, and I'm now finishing up my 10T Classic. Oh, and I'm waiting on my World's body t...

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
AE seems to have found a price point they like. Seems ok with me for one. I'm glad to support their 2024 rere efforts.

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
Not exactly low hanging fruit but I reckon AE expects to sell enough DS's to at least break even on their investment. It would have been much less risky for them to re-re the Team car. My guess is that the CC, 40th and 10T have met and/or exceeded expectations, therefore making the DS an easier re-...

Re: looks like we need a rere associated on road section next!
The main thing against the DS is that it's not a standard size, and until the wide proline VTA bodies came out not much fit when Bolink disappeared. It is a cool car and running options are far better than a pan car, so I can see it being popular enough, just not 10/10T popular.

Re: What's in the mail? Or, What are you currently waiting for?
coincidently, I was browsing ebay for tires this morning and saw those. They are pro-line 114-R. https://www.ebay.com/itm/305689346362 https://www.ebay.com/itm/326206654846 and looks like this seller has the 100-R wheels NIP https://www.ebay.com/itm/275389362777 Much thanks for solving that mystery...
