After watching and listening intently to the video, my guess is either the connecting rod bushing is missing or something is going on in the wrist pin area.

Anyone ever seen this before? Is this caused by a bad head gasket? How long since that thing had been run? To me, that looks like loose head bolts + water ingression = rusty bolts and "staining" of the aluminum. The portions that are not stained were where the bolts were tight and the sea...

Since the pullstart has no relation to the glow plug the only thing I can think of is the one way bearing is sticking to the starting shaft or somehow getting stuck when it's put under the load of compression. Take it off and clean it in some type of cleaner, take note of the direction of the bearin...

I'd see if you can get a prop put on that thing, you can then use a "chicken stick" to flip it over. I've never had luck with a drill. You will need a starter and a wand once it's in the heli anyway, might be a good time to invest in one if you plan on running the heli. If you're just tryi...
