Re: Newbie seeking easy paint and sticker scheme for RC10 gold pan
The gold car in the back is very similar to one of the box versions, there were a few different ones. Screenshot_20220201-151735_Gallery.jpg It uses Tamiya camel yellow, full can. Then it's backed in silver. The decals are mostly MCI. The Futaba decals are the only exception. The blue car uses Tamiy...

Re: Hello from Lake Wylie NC
This would be a good spot to post the work on it:

For the tires with the flat spots, if they aren't too bad, using some tire foams in the wheels might help recover them to a round shape. Just a thought.

Re: RC10 Championship Edition resurrection
What a great looking kit. One thing to do with older plastics is to soak them in water to rehydrate them. They will be much less prone to breakage if you do that.
Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Re: RC10 Championship Edition resurrection
Hobby express! That's where I bought my gold pan and graphite rc10s. Ran the oval there as a kid.

Re: RC10 Championship Edition resurrection
Yes, that’s the name. The owners of wildwood hobbies opened up a new hobby shop in cranberry called hobby express.
The oval track was down stairs and the shop was upstairs diagonal from the 7/11.
I’m from saxonburg originally.
