I was in Saxonburg today and had to make my way to Cranbberry.

Running and bashing beats up an RC and make it ugly. Lack of painting ability, horrible painting concepts, bad masking that bleeds, and crash damage makes an RC ugly. How do you clean up the white plastics so well? Brushed them tossed them in some dilluted simple green in my ultrasonic cleaner and then brushed them again when i took them out. These weren't horribly discoloured like I've seen some others just a bit dirty. Didn't do the peroxide bath on this stuff.

Sticker it up and it's good to go! Looks like it turned out fine. Good first effort.

I use the Tamiya masking tape for the lines, then blue painters tape for bulk coverage.

And always do a real light coat first. It reduces bleeding.

It's not often that I get a large batch of motors that I like all of them, but today is one of those days.

My only disappointment is that the Checkpoint isn't a modified. But it's only a small disappointment.

I like this thread. I have a question. When I power up my tx and then the rx, things twitch to neutral as expected. If i let it sit for a bit I can here the a servo doing a small twitch occasionally. Not sure if its the steering or throttle servo. Will need to pull the body so see for sure. Ideas o...

If it's twitching and actually moving the servo out and back it is picking up a stray signal that is more powerful than what the transmitter is putting out. Can be an electrical spike from a motor starting or a switch closing. If the servos aren't moving or making tiny movements, that's often due t...
