Re: Very Early Prototype Associated Cars from Associated

Since this might be worthy of being a sticky topic, I am also going to add his car pictures here... and one more of the Stealth Car. Re: Cliff Lett RC10 Replica

Haha! I have too much on my plate lately to "race" to build it.

Ok more info for Cliff's 1990 Winner.
I just found out that those are NOT MIP shock bodies in the rear. They have a very dark hard anodizing on the Associated Shocks.

Re: OLD SCHOOL FUTABA RADIO

We still have one of these Jerzi, but it is in the light beige color (tan colored like sand) along with the Tan colored Futaba receiver and servos. This was long before they went to the darker colors then settling on the black.

They worked great way back then!

Associated's RC10 Classic

Here are some pics that had been sent to me earlier, and are now public which is why I am posting them at this time as I was just notified that it is on their webpage, of one of the bodies & wings I painted up for Associated prior to the announcement of the RC10 re-release! I also sent them my d...

Re: Ruf's Room

I just recently rebuilt my old B2 and even managed to find the old body, wing and electronics she used to sport in a separate box. I then located one of the old Reedy race 6-cell black Nicad packs and tested it charging and discharging it a few times while monitoring the voltage, and the battery sti...

My 3rd Box Art RC10 buggy

Just a few days ago in early July 2020, I "re-started" a project RC10 Box Art car that I initially began almost 10 yrs ago. After building two other Box Art cars, this 3rd one got put on the back-burner and I never got back to it until now. I will try and post progress pics. https://i.ibb....

Re: My 3rd Box Art RC10 buggy

In the last few days I made some more progress on the car. The car itself is close to being finished now. For this build, the Novak 4 I wanted to use is a very old one that I bought and owned personally since the 80's (my 2nd one I believe) and has the male plug for Futaba receivers on it, so I deci...

Re: My Vintage Box Art RC10 replicas

Started a 3rd Box art buggy since I had all of the parts for many years now and a car partially finished for maybe 10 yrs. https://i.ibb.co/s19jMxT/20200816-175513.jpg https://i.ibb.co/vQdDs5y/20200816-175621.jpg https://i.ibb.co/vqHZ6xB/20200812-102307.jpg https://i.ibb.co/YcsN2Xr/20200812-091813.j...

Re: My Vintage Box Art RC10 replicas

Wing now nearing completion; body still requires for me to purchase a flat black for painting the outside black areas.

Re: My Curtis Edinger Restoration-The one that ALMOST got away

Today is a good time to update this Curtis Edinger post. The vision I had for this body back in 2010, where I posted photoshopped images of it with a black painted roll-cage, netting and fog lights has finally come to a close, as I caught my 2nd wind and got brave enough to do this to that historic ...

Re: My Curtis Edinger Restoration-The one that ALMOST got away

For over a year now, I have wanted to do a hybrid replica paint I envisioned between my Curtis Husting Edinger paint scheme, and the Winning Edge video RC10. I then put my idea into photoshop to see if it would look like something I would want and after adding some thin black trim lines, flat black ...
