You could also try Yokomo YOKB2-670C, I have a Yokomo spur gear that seems to work fine on the AE tranny.

Looks like 1 3/16" on my vernier, measured shank only, not the head. This leaves enough thread protruding (into the spur?) to fit a nut if necessary. The black screw in the pic is one I bought from Dubro and is 4/40. I'd just do that and cut it if you have all black screws. Jeff if you're out t...

Frankentruck, I like that you've done this. It's nice to see the flip side of the amazing builds we see elsewhere on the site.
