Re: Backyard Tracks and Strangers

This certainly is a loaded question... I know I'd be quite leery of allowing it in this day and age. If nothing else because it would likely lead to having a snowball effect which greatly increase the odds of something bad eventually happening. Then if someone gets hurt on your property, you're held...

Re: Let’s Build the RC10Talk Community’s Own 1/10 Buggy Kit!

On the surface this seems like an amazing idea until you realize the incredible amount of time, money, and logistics of it all. I imagine it's really only possible if you're a business that produces injection molded R/C parts for a living like those who are basically doing or have accomplished this ...

Re: Tell me again about how we cant afford to produce RC parts in the USA anymore...

Any USA bearing or wire sources? Is Boca, ACER, AVID? They're all just distributers for Chinese manufactured bearings as far as I'm aware. There are USA manufactures that make bearing sizes we use in R/C but are very few. With the two puller projects I have in the works, my intent is to use as many...

Re: Tamiya Midnight Pumpkin QD

I've brought this up a few different times on here but there was a show on Nickelodeon called Wild & Crazy Kids which had a bunch of R/C content. One episode had a contest where contestants were on a beach and had to drive QD Midnight Pumpkins over a minefield type course. The object was to make...

I've brought this up a few different times on here but there was a show on N...

Re: How to affix an endbell?

With it causing a dimple, why can't you just simply remove the point?

Re: Thoughts on the Re-Release Movement in RC

There's even people re-packaging used parts to make them appear new at a quick glance. But yeah, looking closely at the header card staples is a very good practice to have! They're a tell-tale sign or the holes they leave if the package has been tampered with in some way.

Re: Forum News & Discussion

Oddly enough we just had a bogus sign-up that used 'Tamiya Grasshopper.' I caught it due to the username being a female name. Whenever I have a doubt if a new member is legitimate or not, I check the IP address geolocation and Google the email address to see if it shows up on any spammer list which ...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)

Seems like it would be a ticket or towable offense to me if they left their vehicle like that.

Re: What's the best R/C car name ever?

It was a bold move going with that naming. I wonder how many sales they lost as a result. 🤔
