Re: Animated driver figure - Very cool build
This guys animatronics and R/C builds are the kinds of stuff an animator would think of, but then real. Next level indeed. My favorites are his trike videos:

Re: Lexan Body Trimming - Scissors or Sharp Blade?
I always used just scissors in the past, with decent results, but it took forever to get the edges straight and smooth, I also use 2000 grit wet sandpaper in the wheel wells and the edges. But I recently tried the sharp hobby knife, score and snap method, and that is the cleanest looking lexan cut I...

Stealthboy2600's gallery
Hello all! I just finished up a 40th anniversary RC10 classic build and wanted to show the results. I have some modern electronics in it (Quicrun 10BL120 G2 & 3652SL G2) and decided to go with the gunmetal grey color I have used on a few recent builds. My original RC10 from the late 80's was don...

Re: Really off topic - End of an Era
We had a Honda push mower for a while that my father bought from a closing restaurant, and I remember how pleased he was with it. It looked similar to the one in your pic which leads me to believe they never really changed them aesthetically as this was going back probably 20 years. After a number o...

Re: Really off topic - End of an Era
I've been a Honda fan since my first motorcycle when I was about 10 years old - an XL70 - and I've been riding Honda's ever since. Today, the collection includes a couple early CB750's a CBX (6 cylinder, 24 valves) and a VFR (V-four, fuel injection) and each bike is a marvel of engineering. My daily...

Re: Really off topic - End of an Era
This year I was gifted an older Honda push mower that needed a tiny bit of love... After a thorough cleaning, oil change, new carburetor and set of replacement blades it runs and cuts beautifully. It starts on the first pull every time and is the nicest running mower I've ever had! It's a shame they...

Re: Really off topic - End of an Era
This hr215 is just like mine. Purchased around 1990 and still works like new. Blades sharpened every winter along with oil change.

Re: RC10 Classic 40th anniversary
About the chassis it is certainly thinner and lighter than the original. It's like the CC. I don't have the classic reissue so can't comment on that one. Do you have actual thickness numbers to support the thinner claim? From my research, I have heard the 40th is as thick as an original variant. I ...
