Re: brushless setup for rc10???
just my take on the matter, im running a velineon 3500kv in a 3S configuration.. I'm still pushing it through the 6 gear and aside from having to replace old bearings, I havent had many problems. I did blow out my idlers and melt my spur but that was probably b/c of running 2.8" wheels at one p...

Re: RC10 Buggy but 3D printed
As above 4s lifepo will be undrivable in 1/10 , with a sensored motor I'd look at max 10.5 turn on 2s lipo , even that is overkill for a vintage chassis design and personally I max out at 13.5 turn as it just makes for more drivability . I did basically the same thing with the Yokomo Dogfighter YZ-8...

Re: lets talk bumpers for second
To my eye the kydex bumper looks most useful and appealing. It could actually soften a hit the car may take. https://www.ebay.com/itm/155920421322?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=sFX0ByQ5QPO&sssrc=2047675&ssuid=RdRo_rT_Rlm&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY The ...

Re: Factory Works/JC Racing T Case ???
looks like John slipped up, that should say 9739, its the spring for the slipper. If you want to save some money, sometimes you can find RB10/DR10 kits broken up and most of the stuff is usable. The diff can be used, you will need some shims. The idler shaft, top shaft, slipper components, spur gear...

Re: QUICK QUESTION
Appreciate the responses guys. Unfortunately its too late. The auction ended just after the first response. At least now I know for next time. I'm really sorry about that. I don't own a B stamp and wasn't aware they were holed for both transmissions. So, we've both learned something new. Edit: As i...

Re: QUICK QUESTION
Happy Easter everyone. “ He is risen. ” FWIW, I’ve been running this 6-gear short arm car with a Reedy 3500kV on 2s since around 2016… P1010430.JPG …and the only transmission related problem came when the idler gear shaft E-clip broke. Apparently, the broken clip has allowed the shaft to rock in the...

Re: QUICK QUESTION
I had recently bought a cheap goolrc 3500kv. put it in this car, thinking I was going to run it til the 6gear blows up. unfortunatly seems like the esc needs to be adjsuted or something. delayed responses, motor had no power, no torque. dissappointing. i thought these combo's were plug and play. ma...

Rc10 Build 2024
This buggy started off as a well used rere. Decided to start cleaning it up and one thing led to another. Started off by sanding the scratches out of the chassis and sending it off to get anodized. using the electronics I already had along with some new option parts, this is how it turned out. Hope ...
