Sometimes I really question my purchase decisions after they arrive….but whatever, RC makes me happy as does restoring old vehicles from BITD, bought this pile of bits literally for one piece (RC10GT related….can you spot it? lol)

Well it cleaned up pretty well. Super pleased, I have always wanted one of these on my GT and this is my first. Soap and water with a toothbrush bath and voila!

Watching bad CSI shows while finishing off stickers and wings…I have some more research to do on the shape of the wing tabs, I didn’t quite get them and the wing needs to be farther forward but at least now I have a new starting point.

I am always a little torn when it comes to vintage 1/8 scale as the prices are as mentioned quite low BUT it has also presented an opportunity to grab some great deals at the moment. Finally managed to get my hands on the correct rims, slightly used but cleaned up well. Removed the tires and threw on some original T wheels back and front…I might look for the box art ‘Reds’ but only if they fall in my lap.

Small progress, the re-re 10T parts came in handy and have definitely lowered the price on some parts which I am personally thankful for.
