Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
A pair of these , £12 delivered , no branding or side wall lettering but I'm still happy at the price . Anybody any ideas of what they are ? IMG_20240706_213236_267~2.jpg Maybe? These? They sure look like the same ones, but I rarely really know what I'm talking about. Screenshot_20240707-0545...

RPM Ultra Molded RC10
After wanting one of these as a kid 30+ years ago after seeing the magazine ad, I was finally able to build an Ultra Molded buggy. Just added a few period mods but nothing too crazy. I was so tempted to add some stickers to this blank canvas, but it looks just too good to cover up. - MIP CVD's...

Re: Picture of the day. (Taken by you)
Oregon coast was the best part about Oregon. My work used to send me to the coast once or twice a week, usually Newport or Pacific City, and often if my day was short I would take the long way home driving all the way north to Astoria and then highway 30 home. It added some serious drive time but wa...

I use heavy duty shears or aviation snips.TravelinTravis wrote: ↑Mon Jul 15, 2024 10:12 am not sure the best/easiest way to cut the kydex.....
Maybe clean up the edges and corners with sanding blocks, belt sander, or Dremel.

Re: Parts You Never Knew Existed
Along the same lines as the first post, did you know that Kyosho used to make glue on spikes?

Re: Parts You Never Knew Existed
Along the same lines as the first post, did you know that Kyosho used to make glue on spikes? I definitely did not know that. I read somewhere that Masami had a bin full of various spikes of different shapes and sizes to make whatever pattern he needed for a particular track. I assumed he h...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Well, I spent another week mostly in a hotel, and the USPS and US Customs have delayed my builds another week, so time to dig out a build for the weekend. It is supposed to rain through Saturday night, so great time to build. I thought about the potentials the whole trip home today, and decided that...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Got a bit done on the Fiero this evening. No major issues so far. Slap on the MSC in the morning, and this thing will be in the paint shop in no time.

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Finished my DIY bumper....thanks to everybody who chimed in on my last post....score and snap method won the day....followed up with dremel, hand sand, vice/heat gun for a 35deg. kick up. Came out better than I thought....but think it might be time to invest in a mini band saw for the shop. 20240716...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Woke up and finished the Fiero mechanically. I have to be in the mood to paint, and I ain't feeling it today. The TC4 from last weekend needs paint also, so maybe I will wait until I have three cars that need paint, and just do them all at once.

Re: So what did you get in the post today ???
Today was 'get a nice 15 turn motor from the gotta have list that comes with a buggy with cool wheels' day. That's one of my favorite days on the calendar. . 1000013270.jpg Is that a Composite Craft originated chassis? I'm not sure. I usually expect Composite Craft to have the black white black lay...
