I just got in a hurry on mine trying to get the front end done and took to much material and not evenly and they were to far off to correct.

yeah that is the small pattern nut, only used on the GT with the one piece chassis (in that location) but also used on the rear suspension mounts of the worlds car and 10T, and on the pan cars for the front suspension. Part number was 8182. They were aluminum originally and those are very tough to l...

Those side by side comparison photos are very helpful, the cars appear to match perfectly – well, with one exception. Now, you just need to go out there and get it dirty! :D It’s been a very long road but the car has turned out great -- one of the most accurate replicas I've seen to date. Congratula...
