Re: 10L project’S
Thanks for the compliments guys! I let my son pick the colors, but I do love that blue! I finally picked up a couple sharpies the other day, and outlined the trim. And like little Trey said, “it looks way better now” lol Cool post! I love seeing old dogs come back to life. I had one of those old Nov...

Re: 10L project’S
Yeah mine must have always been the Bolink TOJs because they had lower spoilers and blank cockpits. That one looks way better. Did the Dahms come with that driver figure molded in? That seems to make it pop!

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
Not 100% RC, but half lol. Decided to rearrange my collection cabinet. Until I gain an office back through a kid moving out (jokes on me I guess, we got one back from college instead!) So for now this is my allotted square footage for toy displaying! I added the 10L, Halsey and Nova Fox, so ex...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
2003 WRX Sonic wagon TRESTOY literally  My 4th turbo Subaru, never had a wagon though and I stumbled onto this one kinda by chance. It was completely stock, no rust, original paint. Been going through it as time and money allows. All new front end components, 4 piston front brake set up, pulled...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
Excellent we are talking about slightly oddball boosted cars! This one is my baby…1991 Dodge Colt w/4G63 swap. Owned since 2001 and I’ve driven it swapped for well over 100K mi. Best it’s gone in 1/4 is 12.1@117. It makes upper 300whp to the tires and weighs 2380lbs full of gas. It’s essentially a ...

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
That’s a nice truck, my dad had the long bed tan and brown version of that same truck. I want to say it was an 87 though. The build sounds like fun. Hard to find short beds at all, non the less rust free!

Re: we all have big toys too don't we? show off your ride!
Here is one of my better financial decisions. Bought this 1991 F150 2wd back in 2016 for $1500. Has 5.0 EFI, AOD Auto, 80K mi, porno red interior, and zero rust on anything. The 91 is the last of the F-series sporting no-airbag, no-ABS, and hi/lo dimmer on the floor. It was built with union pride i...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
“8) I think putting one of these kits together should be a required engineering intro class called “how to read the freakin manual 101” (heck it even challenges me!!)” No doubt, I’ll add that in half of the instances said engineer played a role in creating that manual they’re supposed to read. As a ...

Re: The retro-not-real Turbo Ultima build
These are cool. I wanted to do the re re Ultima, but did a fantom instead around the time it was out. This one just looks trick out the box! Trying to avoid temptation, just did a nova fox and the Halsey car, and went deep into my 10L project (s), then Christmas with 5 kids lol Hopefully this remain...

Re: So, what did you do RC today?
So he’s into the viper tonight. Doing well I’ll add too. As far as the instructions go, they are great, typical Tamiya quality, lots of good info for a beginner. The worse part of the build that I’m seeing is that the plastic parts are in non labeled bags. So not the best, but he’s doing fine with it.

Re: The retro-not-real Turbo Ultima build
Looks great! I’ve used CA to do custom multilevel wings way back in the day, but a good hit and they’d crack. Honestly 3m double sided tape would allow some flexibility and you can even get clear now, so I’d look into that.

Re: The retro-not-real Turbo Ultima build
The race of FedEx leaving Kuwait versus UPS leaving California; FedEx still won! I like your take on the darker anodizing; they do look nice and even have a silvery look depending on the lighting. Safe to say, Kyosho would probably package some variant of these shocks in a Turbo Ultima kit if they ...

Re: The BMX (and other bikes) thread
Just curious, I have heard mention that a 24" feels more like a 20" when you're an adult. Any opinions on the matter besides "That's what she said." jokes? I'm not real happy with my 26" that I hardly ever *pull out. *See second sentence... I got rid of my 26” giant mb and ...
