The Vintage 1/8 Onroad Thread

Post by V12 »

Starting this thread as a common place for all vintage 1/8 scale onroad cars. Show your Delta, Thorp, Marker, MRP, Dynamics, Associated, or whatever car you have. Show vintage stuff as old bodies, rare motors, carburators or mufflers. Ask any questions on unknown stuff etc.

Please just vintage cars, let´s say until 1990, also please 1/8 onroad cars only, no offroad, trucks or similar.

This is not my first 1/8 car but the first Delta 1/8 gas car I got, a Delta Red Eagle of around 1982. Motor is a Novarossi Testa Oro, pipe is a McCoy. Pictures are right after unpacking. Body is unknown type, so also the first "What is it?" question. Let me know if you know this body.

Nice body. Didn´t know Graupner sold Parma bodies.
Parma made some great looking bodies in the past, I have an old BMW 3.0 CSL.

some mufflers and pipes

First is a British made PB muffler from around 1976 used with the PB International car, but also used at other cars in Europe as it was one of the first quiet mufflers when noise rules came up.

I'll have to bust out my stash and post up some 8th scale pics... kinda of an obsession.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.
