My Old School AE RC12L

Check out my vintage AE RC12L that I just put together today.

I have new electronics in it untill i rebuild the orignal electronics for it.

Let me know what you think of it.

Yes it's a 10L maybe an ss as well small rear pod and off set just a bit.

the funny thing is that the 10L doesnt look like this one, the front a-arms are different.

look on ebay to get an idea of what it's worth.

Just got this in the mail today. I was thinking of doing a boxed art with it, Anybody know what body is on the box and if anybody makes aluminum wheels for the 12th scale like sees? It came with a Yokomo SP-12MS1 body. Thanks

The long awaited resto of our childhood 12's has been something I've been wanted to do for a long time and finally, the time has come :D We both bought these with our own $ and ran the hell out of them. There's bits left of course from BITD, but not...

Built my 12 last night and mounted the Osella body. I think I'm going to save the litesink for a different project, I used a a stock aluminum R bulkhead instead. Still there's some nice pieces, Lunsford axels, Tecnacraft tie-rods and another LH...

My friend and I have started getting back into on road a bit and I've been toying with the idea of getting another pan car. Back in the day I had a graphite 10L. I sold it to my friend and he's started driving it again. I've had a chance to play...

Hey all, here is my oldschool 12L. She will be running again soon and will make a video. I will also clean her up a bit since last run in the early 90's :mrgreen: I just think I may be in a need for some new tires. Everything else seems intack...

I don't have any experience with the 12's and lipo/brushless, but I did upgrade to decent 1 turnbuckles up front with the small 4-40 ballcups :D

this rc12l is the first i have ever owned a pan car. of course this one is a wreck. This will be a heavy pic thread on my progress.
Hears what it looked like as i recieved it and during disasembly.

So the empty bottle of Trinity oil goes with the car too? :wink:

Hello, today I got a call from a friend in the LHS and he sends me a pic of this guy.
I am not all that familiar with on road cars so i would like to get your feedback.

Te only predominant parts looks like a Hot Tricks chassis and lightspeed heat...

Carpet cars survive REALLY well... they don't scratch in race conditions hardly ever. ;)
Front bumpers seem to get abused though :lol:

nothing a little crack filler and red paint cant fix :idea:
