Poor Mans Sand Scorcher

Wanting a sand scorcher but dont have the mucho $$ for one? Well here is one for us poor folk :lol:
Pretty simple really, 1 grasshopper, some brat rubber and rims, blitzer beetle lid and some craftiness.

sweet build. I'd be all for doing one but the beetle bodies are almost $100 if you can even find one.

rpphobby.com has Blitzer Beetle bodies brand new for cheap. You can get all parts including driver figure for about $50.

Yea I got mine on ebay for like $30 now it didnt have all the chrome hardware tho which is the expensive stuff to get but I added leds so didnt really need those. My other beetle body is for the monster beetle I have and its the original tamiya body with all the hardware so it stays on that lol.
