Revtech Motor ID

Post by tizeye »

Got this Revtech motor with a bunch of other stuff. It has blue Revtech decals on it and that's it. It looks like a stock motor with the sealed can but can anybody tell me anything about it. I haven't seen much mention of the name on here.

Just an old silver-can ROAR stock motor. Back in the day, the stock motors were all essentially sealed and the same from brand to brand—all each one did was put their own brushes and break-in methods to good use and sell them with their own decal on it.

If it was NOS, it's probably got some value to a collector. If it's used, it really probably has only emotional or intrinsic value to someone, and probably not even that much.

For a runner, it's not worth anything. Today's stock motors will run with many of the vintage mod motors BItD.
