radicator rims
Starting to biuld NIB a radicator kit that I have. My question is are any rims avialible to replace the pink rims in this kit. I want to keep it as original as I can but the pink rims just don't get it. I see that tower has some white rims for the trx1 . Traxxas part # are 1776 and 1774 for both front and rear they look the same but will they fit the rad.

Re: radicator rims
I think the silver ones for the older bandit are still available (same as the pink, just painted silver). I see them at hobby shops all the time. I also thought the TRX3/TCP wheels (solid) where also still available.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

Radicator part list: http://www.traxxas.com/support/legacy/legacy_parts/Radicator-partslist.pdf
1774 will fit.... and 1775 are the fronts (I think you mistyped the 1776).
I have those on my Rad2 from Tower... they are exactly the same as the originals. Maybe a little whiter.

Re: radicator rims
No problem. Once I finish the Rad2 for VONats duty I'll post some pics. I have Losi ribs on the front and will be trying Goose Bumps on the rears-- it's great that 2.2s go right on these old Traxxas buggys. It was such a challenge finding modern rubber for the RC10 without modding the rear axles.
Best of luck!

Re: radicator rims
rctenracer- those will be the exact same as the pink kit rims, just not pink.
I have a set of original rear tires mounted (thanks JK Racing if I remember right), a set of new (Tower) original fronts mounted and a set of vintage period correct ribbed fronts (eBay) mounted.... plus a set of Losi ribbed & Goose Bumps (modern rubber) for the VONats. At under $4 a set I couldn't resist snagging a bunch of those rims from Tower.
